I made it home all in one piece - though leaving los osos on friday I found myself fighting gale force cross winds going up the 101 almost all the way into SF - and as you know, incredibly strong cross winds are not the westy's best friend... but we persevered and made it through OK.

On Saturday the family and I took the van out and camped in bodega bay overnight! it was great - cozy and warm. we ran the furnace through the night and despite 35 degree weather we stayed quite comfortable. we all really love the van! I'll send you some pix over the next few days so you can see the rest of the clan (and the van) in action.
